Abdul-wahhab Ibrahim is a Director/Partner at PML Advisory and has expertise in internal audit, risk management, compliance, accounting and IFRS solutions and services. With experience in consulting and in the real sector, Abdul-wahhab Ibrahim has the kind of background required to deal with today’s client problems. He has worked as a Consultant, Chief Finance Officer and Chief Internal Auditor for over 18 years.
He is responsible for leading and coordinating PML technical team. He has extensive experience in audit, financial advisory, financial management, treasury management, restructuring and reengineering, project appraisal and change management.
Prior to joining PML Advisory, Abdul-wahhab Ibrahim worked at Spartkwest Steel Industries Limited as Finance Director, Westcom Technologies and Energy Services Limited as Group, Head of Internal Audit, KPMG Professional Services and Deloitte as Senior Auditor. He started his career at Deloitte in 2000 where he spent about four years before moving to KPMG Professional Services in 2005 where he served as team leader on the audit of the Firm’s major banking and insurance clients and left in 2008 to Westcom Technologies and Energy Services and from where he was seconded to SparkWest Steel Industries Limited.
Abdul-wahhab Ibrahim has a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the Bayero University Kano where he received awards for the best graduating student, Auditing and Investigation and Advance Accounting and Theory. He is also an associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
